What Causes Severe Fatigue, Fever And Elevated WBC Levels In Blood?
My granddaughter is fatigued, she has slept for 2 days. She was took to the doctor on Saturday and they found nothing. She has been running a fever of 101-102. She was took back to the doctor today and they took blood tests and a urine test. They found that her white blood cell count was high but they couldn t find anything else like a virus or anything wrong with her. They are going to check her urine culture more in depth. What would be causing this fever and lifelessness?
hi..you have not provided blood report.. WBC has 5 type of cells. each type increases with perticular infection..so without WBC DIFFERENTIAL COUNT its difficult to say..but i must say infection is the cause for high WBC count ,fatigue ,fever.. your doctor advised urine culture as they feel urinary tract infection.. let the report comes..then decide definetive treatment.. as of now continue prescribe medicines by doctor. take care
