when i work out i feel like i am getting over heated and need to stop and then restart. my knees and back of my shoulders are sore sometimes i have pain in it bands and in the side of my feet that i can massage out. any relation the over heating and pain

Based on the history you have shared, it seems to be muscular and vitamin D3 B12 and folic acid levels may be checked and replacement may be started as soon as possible. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used for symptomatic relief.

Autoimmune disorders like polymylgia rheumatica etc needs to be ruled out.
