What Causes Severe Foot Pain Causing Difficulty In Walking?
I am having trouble with my legs, walking has been difficult and lastly I am having severe pain in my foot at the heel area, making walking painful. It is as if I stepped on a rock and injured both feet, but I haven t stepped on anything. YYYY@YYYY
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe foot pain causing difficulty in walking . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like soft tissue injury , gout , arthritis , bone spurs , bunions , bursitis , corns and calluses , diabetic neuropathy or plantar fasciitis .
I would suggest you to keep your feet in hot water tub with epsom salt for 15 minutes twice daily , take proper rest and do not stand for long time . If condition doesn't get better then consult podiatrist for proper examination .
Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory or orthotic device . Doctor may also recommend surgery in case of achilles tendinitis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
