Hello,

You are suffering from severe headache, acidity and pain in the stomach. You experiencing severe acidity in the upper part of the stomach after taking Ibuprofen for your headache. You are suggested to stop taking ibuprofen, you are experiencing the side effects of the medicine. Acidity commonly occurs due to eating spicy, oily food, skipping meals, taking untimely food, taking alcohol, drinking a lot of tea, taking chocolates, taking aerated drinks, constipation, etc.

Medical conditions that cause similar symptoms are developing ulcer (peptic / esophageal), obesity, IBS, GERD, etc. Take Pantoprazole, Pan-40, one SOS when needed to get relief from acidity. Take boiled food for a couple of days and take adequate water and fluids to avoid constipation and dehydration.

To get rid of headache you can take acetaminophen, one SOS when needed. You are suggested to stay away from addictions if any. Get clinically examined by a GP, get blood works, urinalysis, stool examination and imaging tests done so that pathology causing you symptoms can be treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
