What Causes Severe Headaches After Taking Gabapentin?
I have been given Gabapentin for nerve damage in my feet, but when I take it I get severe headaces, they are just about unbearable. My foot Doctor wanted me to take 300mg, but then my family Doctor try to cut me down to 100mg, but it didn t seem to help with the headaces . It truly helps the nerve damage in my feet,but it s just the pain in my head that s so hard to take. Thank you for any help you could give me.

yes, Gabapentin is known to cause headaches.
however, there are many more causes of headache which need to be ruled out.
you need to tell various history in detail like
site of pain
radiation
duration
diurnal variation
relieved on medications or not
associated with aura or not
for symptomatic relief-
TAB PCM 500mg sos
if still not relieved-
NAPROXEN 500md sos
