Hello,
Since you have a history of
concussion, headache and lack of concentration can be on behalf of it. Other medical conditions that cause lack of concentration are tiredness and emotional stress,
brain injury, anxiety, sleep disorders, bipolar disorders, addictions like smoking, alcohol, drug abuse, etc.
Headache can be due to some internal injury,
tension headache, migraine, etc. You can take
Acetaminophen or Naproxen, one SOS when there's pain for relief. To avoid concentration problems, cut on addictions if any, take adequate sleep, avoid stress (physical and emotional). You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP /
neurologist, get blood tests, nerve conduction tests, nerve biopsy, imaging tests done to detect any internal injury, fractures or any other pathology that may cause you discomfort.
Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected and your clinical condition. In the meantime, take food rich in vitamin B6, B12, vitamin E or supplements.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
