What Causes Severe Headaches Along With Dizziness And Nausea?

Hello. I have been experiencing a headache the past six days. Last night, I had trouble staying asleep, and woke up every hour or so. I m not sure if I have tension headaches, or what. About a year ago, I got glasses to help the strain I was putting on my eyes. I don t think I needed glasses, because of my headaches. Also, maybe 4 weeks ago, I was hit in the head with a volleyball and was convinced I had a concussion, but didn t see a doctor. My throbbing headache, along with dizziness and nausea, lasted 7 days. I m wondering what s wrong with me and if I should see a doctor. Thanks.

Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with common causes like migraine or tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intra cranial (inside the brain) causes.
