What Causes Severe Headaches Along With Nausea And Vomiting?
Hello! Over the years but with more frequency and duration, I have been experiencing severe headaches above the eyes (frontal), nausea, and most of the times vomiting. I thought maybe I am experiencing heat stress as I ve worked outdoors in FL for many years and frequently would get these symptoms after working strenuously outdoors for a number of days. It seems that I can not regulate my body temperature (get very hot and then cold).
Based on the history you have shared, you should get a X-ray PNS to rule out any signs of chronic sinusitis, and antibiotics like azithromycin if X-rays are suggestive so. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be helpful for symptomatic relief. Also get an opthalmologist review and get visual acuity tested. An otolaryngologist review for throat examination and any local cause of vomiting may be ruled out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
