What Causes Severe Headaches And Impaired Speech?

I recently had an MRI to r/0 any potential major issues after a mild migraine headache during which I lost my ability to speak what I was thinking for a few minutes. The MRI was normal with the exception of mild white matter disease. What does this indicate. I am 65 years old and a diet controlled diabetic.
