Having severe headaches for the past month, made tests fundoscopy, blood sugar, kidney, thyroid all not showing anything. I m diabetic, cholesterol and UCG tests and nothing wrong shows. I went for a ct scan and only shows thickening of the mucosal maxillary antra. Is it the cause of the headache? It comes when I get physical it when talking loud even when brushing my teeth
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Chronic headache and thickening of maxillary sinus are suggestive of chronic sinusitis. I suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment. Thickening of maxillary antrum may require surgery.
Thanks and take care
