What Causes Severe Nausea And Loss Of Taste During Pregnancy?
8wks 2days pregnant. Feeling very ill most of the day. No vomiting or severe spitting but generally ill and just want to remain in bed. In bed is where I need to remain. Can t stand smells and there seems to be a perticular one around the house that no one except I can smell. Lost my taste for most foods too! Is this still considered as morning sickness?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The symptoms what you are experiencing are normal and related to morning sickness, which is experienced by most women in 1st trimester of pregnancy. Kindly take Vitamin B6 capsules regularly to overcome nausea and Zinc supplementation to improve taste and smell sensation. Kindly do your antenatal check-ups regularly as per the schedule. All the best. Hope the information provided helps. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
