Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last Saturday morning (6am), I woke up in the morning feeling very sick to my stomach -- on the verge of throwing up. It passed within a few minutes, but the rest of the day and through today the mild nausea continues. The night before the first sign of this I had a very large salad and grilled chicken. I have also been snacking on ginger and wonder if too much ginger is causing the nausea condition. I have not had any alcohol and have not been taking any medication. I generally have this nausea feeling briefly in the morning following coffee, but never lasts beyond that breif moment.
Severe nausea caused due to many of the conditions, not just the food you took the day before. It is impractically to say what you are suffering from with this history. Your gender also become important if you are female and of childbearing age and having morning syndrome.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
