What Causes Severe Neck Spasms After A Spine Surgery?

Hi I had spine surgery through my neck last June...since then the left side of my neck, the muscles have tightened up, I have severe painful spasms, my left arm and hands are very weak, and a constant pulling between shoulder blades..I also hand frozen shoulder on my left side and completed physical therapy for that about 70% better with that, but the pain is severe on myleft side.

Hello,

After spine surgery, it takes a longer time for the muscles to regain their strength and thus this can cause pain. You need to continue the exercises for prolong period maybe life long in order to reduce the pain to a minimum.
