What Causes Severe Nerve Pain And Spasms Post Left Shoulder Labrum Repair?
on Nov 3, 2015 i had left shoulder labrum repair with decompression. I had developed adhesive capsulitis prior to procedure. On first of December i had a follow up for manipulation under anesthesia when OT was not progressing. Now with nerve pain and spasms that keeps me awake all night. Pain med and Robaxin offering no relief. Any suggestions.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe nerve pain and spasms post left shoulder labrum repair . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction , infection or burn .
The symptoms can also occur due to post surgery complication , so also consult your surgeon . I would suggest you to atop applying any kind of gel or other cream and ice to affected area , cream the area with betadine , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take benadryl twice a day . Consult dermatologist for proper examination .
Doctor will examine properly and may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory or anti allergic . Also consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination of pinched nerve . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant and recommend physical therapy or stretching exercises .
