What Causes Severe Neuropathic Pain In The Feet While On Mirtazapine?

My doctor put me on Mirtazapine for depression. It is 15 mg, and I take 1/2 of a 15mg tablet before bedtime. I have Neuopathy in my feet and this medication has made my painful, burning feet hurt much worse. Why is this and will it go away, it seems to get worse. Thank you.

Hello
Mirtazipine is an antidepressant and generally causes excessive sleep and giddiness and doesn't cause neuropathic pain in fact it should releave the neuropathic pain to some extent,
I would suggest you to go for a vitamin D level and serum calcium level and take B complex vitamin for time being.
Regards
