hi I am a 67 year old female I have extreme numbness in my hands fronts of my legs and arms , i have terrible itching all over my body frequent headaches allergies and watering eye left one frequent urination and a dry mouth and thirst. iwas type 2 diabetic for 14 years but had gastric bypass 2 years ago and my sugar levels are normal as of now
You may also have nerve compression problems which were suspected in your prior consultations which must have aggravated, however at what level it varies and needs clinical evaluation, with nerve conduction studies with or without MRI.
It is very common to get such types of numbness and pain in stress and in a deep anxiety state.
However, to be on the safe side, you should consult a doctor and get your cardiac status checked along with other relevant investigations for the causes as mentioned above.

Hello, Usually, this is self-limiting and there is no specific cause but if this persists then various causes for arm numbness may persist like dehydration, diabetes, hypothyroidism, menopause, lack of B complex vitamins. You may also have nerve compression problems which were suspected in your prior consultations which must have aggravated, however at what level it varies and needs clinical evaluation, with nerve conduction studies with or without MRI.
