Hello,
You are very young. It is nice to know that you have stopped taking meth intake. Do it gradually, get connected to a detox center, so that your
withdrawal symptoms can be managed. Stay away from meth. Meth causes pre mature aging. After just one year of meth use, a person might look at least 10 years older than they did the year before. Take care of your hygiene and beauty because you are so young and beautiful, you should.
Keep your skin clean. Take regular bath apply Vitamin E or aloe vera-enriched oils to the wounds to add moisture to the skin. Neglect may worsen the condition. Some people who neglect develop gangrene, which occurs when the skin starts to die off from a lack of blood flow to an area of the body that has become damaged from a severe bacterial infection. The best way to prevent meth sores is abstinence from the drug, other ways to treat them are to avoid tampering with existing sores. Do not scratch or pick when it itches.
Maintain a healthy and nutritious diet, Engaging in proper personal and
oral hygiene, applying natural oils or water based lotion to the skin and soothe any irritation. Get connected to a Physical therapist for cognitive
behavioral therapy or medication. You are encouraged to consulting with a physician for suspected infections so that you can be treated. The skin of a person who is addicted to
methamphetamine is affected because they tend to stop taking care of their personal hygiene. Weeks or months may pass by before they take a bath or even comb their hair.
They may have no sense of time or reality, days may pass by without them eating or drinking anything at all, which leads to
severe malnutrition,
weight loss, and dry skin. Get connected to a detox center which will help to manage withdrawal symptoms. Initial stages of detox may cause patients to experience anxiety, cravings, itchiness,
depression, a lack of energy, psychosis, etc. After 14 to 20 days of abstinence, withdrawal symptoms begin to wane. Then you will feel better. Switch to healthy eating habits, take adequate sleep at night and do regular walking, exercise, etc. Switch to healthy lifestyle and maintain your hygiene.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
