What Causes Severe Pain In Hips And Lower Back During Menstruation?

I had my daughter in march, 2010 and I had a tubal ligation in may. I decided immediately after to go back on birth control to manage my mentral cycles every 3 months. I had my 1st real period the 3rd week of june and my 2nd the last 2days of june into july and i hurt so bad. I have intense pain in my legs (like they are bruised on the inside) and my hips and lower back hurt constantly. when i bend over i feel like i get stuck. I have been unbearably cranky (more than usual) and this is while taking effexor, which had been working fine until i have a cycle. I had originally asked my ob/gyn to do a partial hystorectomy, because of endometriosis, and he said no. please help me i hurt so bad and i am miserable.
