hi, my son, !0 yrs is having severe pain in his left lower jaw right inside and little swelling on the outer area, first i thought he was getting his molar but cant see anything rupturing, could it be mumps? however he does not have any fever or headache.
He may be suffering from oral cavity infection with submandibular lymphadenopathy. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid according to the weight twice a day for five days. If there is no improvement, please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
