Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Swollen lymph nodes indicates infection/inflammation in the surrounding area. Look for any cavities in the teeth or enlarged tonsils which are the two commonest cause for swollen neck nodes. You can start on short course of antibiotics for five days. Take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for pain. Generally pain will settle in couple of days with out complications. The condition is not related to your kidney disease.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
