General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am of the opinion that polymyalgia rheumatics is almost always connected with giant cell arteritis too which causes a severe temporal headache. An oral corticosteroid such as prednisolone should be given at tapered dosage for a specific duration. NSAIDs also help in PMR.you should take that specifically you can take etoricoxib. Thermal massages and other relevant local measures too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
