What Causes Severe Pain In The Knee?

sir i m 28 years old and got injured my right knee while playing kabbadi. in sep 2008 i got operated for torn ACL also partial mensicotomy of lateral and medial meniscus is done.i was running fine but from 15 may 2011 i am feeling pain due to long standing and sometimes bending my knee. doctor advised me to take lubrijoint for 15 days. sir is there any medicine to regenerate the torn meniscus as this is likely due to meniscotomy. my ACL is fine and quite intact and i does not feel instability of knee. doing regular quadriceps and hemistring exercises. please advice about regeneration of medial and lateral meniscus.. thanks
