What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Back After Umbilical Hernia Repair?

I had a tummy tuck done approx.4 1/2 yrs. ago n about 1yr ago I went to a doctor to have a umbilical hernia repaired, i told him I was having pain in my groin on the RT.side.He said go back to my plastic surgeon,he said it looks like he left a stitch in. Im waiting to get insurance n then I will go back to him.i have been getting worse with my pain and posture.Is this a normal side effect from leaving a stitch in or could this be from the mesh behind the umbilical repair.i have to use a shopping cart to walk around in the stores,i can hardly lift anything. I have extreme lower back pain.

@ Your query is not absolutely clear for site of pain as it is telling lower back
& groin on right side at different places of narration
@ Leaving a stitch inside is not going to give any back pain of any type
@ Current pain either lower back or right groin is not associated with hernia
surgery done before 1 year , there are various different reasons for the
same which need evaluation as - para spinal muscle sprain - spondylosis
- right ureter calculus - right inguinal hernia - disc prolapse - osteophyte
in inter vertebral spaces
