I had a total knee replacement in august of 2015. I went into surgery with a sore knee and upon coming out of recovery I noticed a horrible CRUSHING pain in the back of my knee, and a numb cold foot. I insisted after not being heard as to how terribly painful it was, that I have a EMG and see a Neurologist. It has been 20 months later, and many many MRI s, angiogram, accupuncture, 3 nerve blocks, meds, and it continues to get worse and more painful, now running down my calf and shin. Horrible pain. I have been told I have tibial neuropathy, CRPS, and another neuropathy that has slipped my mind at the time. I strongly believe that the knee replacement is crushing the back of my knee but all the reports will not support this. I am out of options with the exception of a risky nerve exploratory or spinal implant. Is it at all possible that it is truly the actual knee mechanism that is crushing the back of my knee??? Horrible pain, no one should live this way and it is getting worse and worse.
