General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Such type of pain on that particular area may result from commonly kidney stone, UTI like urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis etc., again, some uncommon conditions such as renal trauma, polycystic kidney disease, renal vein thrombosis, kidney cancer etc., may also cause such type of pain. Treatment depends on causes. You should undergo some investigations like CBC, urine R/M/E and C/S, USG of W/A special attention to KUB region, X-ray of KUB region, CT scan or MRI of KUB region to detect the underlying causes for your present sufferings and then treat them accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
