Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Sir, I am a30 year old male from India, Have been having shooting pain under my right shoulder blade for the past one year. I experienced the pain earlier since the past 10 years as well but now it is much more severe. I do not suffer from gall bladder pain nor have I had an injury on the shoulder. Please suggest a remedy.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists you can consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out ligament or tendon injury.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
