What Causes Severe Sore Throat, Headache, Deep Cough And Clogged Ears?

It's been 3 + days of a very sore throat, no head congestion or headache, but last day have had deep cough that makes my voice hoarse for a while. Been taking Advil, cough drops and drinking lots of fluids. Ears are now feeling clogged. Loss of appetite. Daughter has strep throat 10 days ago.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your symptoms, you might have strep throat with otitis media(middle ear infection)This is infection caused by streptococcus pyogenes. Following remedies can be tried :-
1.Salt Water Gargle-Mix 1 tsp of salt with warm water in a glass. Gargle for roughly 15-20 seconds and spit out. You can repeat this as needed for 2-3 days. Remember to spit the water after rather swallowing it.
2. Anti-inflammatory medicines like acetaminophen may be helpful
3. Valsalva Maneuver:-Take a deep breath and pinch your nose. Now, try to exhale like you are trying to breathe out. This will unclog your ears. This is the easiest and a good ear treatment, Don’t blow too hard; otherwise, it may cause damage to the ear drum.

Visit a ENT specialist, if problem persist
