What Causes Severe Stomach Pain With Liquid Bloody Stool?

Woke up last night with severe stomach cramping. Liquid stools for the next 12 hours, they were all bloody and had some mucous. Nurse callback said it is likely a stomach flu that is going around. I have been dealing with head cold and cough, although the cough has gone away. Trying to stay hydrated but feel a little dizziness and fatigue. Recently had a colon screen. Benign polyps. Good for ten years.

HI. This is classical gastroenteritis and what you need is really good rehydration along with electrolytes replacement as you loose so much in such a problem.
On proper hydration and electrolyte replacement, fatigue and dizziness will go away.
It may take a small time for the loose motions to settle.
Take plenty of ORS solution if no nausea / vomiting.
Probiotics
Banana, curd, activated charcoal tablets help a lot for early recovery and feeling good.
Benign polyps are not relevant here but need regular colonoscopic follow-up
