What Causes Severe Throbbing Headache?

hello sir i,m having a severe throbbing headache on my left temporal region. took paracetamol 500mg thrice a day but still dint subside, when headache gets severe im also feeling nauseated. please give me your suggestion.. i,m not able to study because of this.

Hi, severe throbbing headache on left temporal region points to temporal arteritis also known as Horton disease.You require Blood tests CBC with ESR and temporal biopsy, If confirmed then High dose prednisolone is started for long periods with careful monitoring. Best wishes
