What Causes Severe Vomiting And Elevated WBC Count?

My son began being sick yesterday around noon. He started throwing up and couldn t even keep water down. He is a type 1 Diabetic. We went to hospital and now they say his white blood cells are over triple what they should be. Is there other things besides cancer that would do that?

as your son is suffering from Diabetes type 1 , and having vomiting and high WBC, there are possibility of Diabetic keto acidosis and infection. your son need to be investigated for these thing also.
