General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pneumonia may cause chest pain, shortness of breath and even vomiting. It is important for your son to have a chest x-ray and some blood tests such as CBC and ERS (or PCR).
According to the results of the tests, further treatment will be decided.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
