Hi, My daughter is 2 years 8 months of age. recently for the last couple of days she is complaining of vomiting. it has been observed that what ever eats she is prone to vomit it out even in a couple of hours. I have consulted my pediatrician who said everything is fine, no medicines given. Is there any medicine i can give to control the vomiting? Her motions are clear. Kindly advice.
hi, I have read your question and understand your concern. I mostly advice my patients domperidone syrup for control of vomiting 10 minutes before meals. For children less than 12 years of age its dose is 0.25mg/kg . If a child is 10 kgs the dose should become 2.5mg. If a patient comes to me with similar symptoms I would suggest Syrup Domperidone 0.25mg/kg thrice daily before meals. Domperidone is available in 1mg/1ml oral suspension. Wish her good health.
