Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has had 3 episodes of vomitting. The first 2 times he suspected the flu. However, this last time he has no flu symptoms and felt fine afterwards. He is tired and has been under a great deal of work stress. He is diabetic, and recently received medication for OAB. I am concerned that there is something else going on.
When appearing shortly after a meal, nausea or vomiting may be caused by gastritis which is an inflammation of the stomach lining or an ulcer.
I suggest doing an endoscopy to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile, I suggest using antacids such so Maloox. I also recommend to drink a lot of liquids and eat a plain diet.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
