Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 19 year old daughter in having lower right pain in the lower quadrant. it seems to happen when she eats and the pain started gradually but now hurts like a sharp pain. She has a history of bladder infections but not the same discomfort. She might also be running a low fever.
Hello there. A sharp abdominal pain in the lower right quadrant along with mild fever is pointing towards appendicitis. It can be ruled by an abdominal sonography. Meanwhile she can take Tylenol for pain management. If she is diagnosed with appendicitis she may be required to undergo a minor surgery. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
