What Causes Sharp And Dull Pain In Neck Upon Awaking?

I had sharp and dull pakn in my neck upon awakening, three days straight. I notified both my PCP and my neurologist. My PCP ordered an MRI and so far all I know from my neurologist s office is that I have discuss something called, a narrowing of the spine with my PCP. I hope the bone spur at C-2 isn t the cause.

I really appreciate your concern, in such symptoms MRI study is very necessary if you have not done it yet then get it done and till then pain can be managed with "Tab Chlorzoxazone with Diclofenac" once in day take care for good posture, hope this information helps, take care.
