What Causes Sharp Breast Pain?

Hi, I have been having lingering excruciating pain in my breast for the past 4 weeks. Prior to that, I ve been feeling something grab my boobs. Also for 4yrs now, I ve had bad hot flushes on and off. A close friend said these symptoms have to do with the fact that ive never had sex. This is preposterous. Is it true and what is going on with my breasts. Thanks

Your symptoms suggest you could be having mastitis. Sometimes it's cyclical that means it increases during menstrual cycle or during ovulation as it's hormonally related. I advise you to examine yourself to rule out any lump in the breast. Use tight bras and painkillers if the pain is severe. It's not related to sex.
