What Causes Sharp Pain In Chest, Blacking Out And Short Term Memory Loss?

Symptoms were sharp pain in chest, blacking out and when she woke up she didn t know where she was, or how long she had been there and realized she had peed herself!! What could of been the cause of this? She went to the hospital and they did an ECG on her heart and it came back good!!

The symptoms narrated most likely point towards the TIA ( Trasient ischemica attack ) May be because of embolic episode. As there was chest pain preceeding the black out the cause of which may be the temporary ischemia the cahnces of said events are more.
Though ECG is normal it is advisable not to neglect to these symptoms & you should go for further investigations & Cardiologist as well as neurolosgist opinion.
They might advice you firther investigations such as 2 D Echo & neuro imaging.
She might be started on blood thinners such as asprine & other prophylactic medications as needed.

So my frank opinion is that not to neglect the things & have proper consultations.
