What Causes Sharp Pain In Left Lower Abdomen Long After Removal Of Ovarian Cyst?

Tracy Smith, 47 female Caucasian , Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Sharp stabbing pain in left lower abdomen, came out of nowhere, approx. 9pm CST, have had back pain on left side below kidney since Saturday, like a pulled muscle. Cannot stand upright and now pain is almost constant. Piercing pain at the front and coming out the back. Have had emergency surgery for cyst in Fallopian tube in 1999. Is this another one?

Regarding your symptom of left lower abdominal pain following a previous surgery for ovarian cyst I am suggesting the following differential diagnosis

Post operative adhesion
Acute salpingitis
Acute diverticulitis
Meanwhile please do an abdominopelvic ultrasound to rule out this condition and see your physician with the result
Moreover please take the following
analgesic
Antibiotic
