Welcome at HCM I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.... What is your age? For how long u have been suffering from this? Do u have any difficulty in swallowing? Do u smoke? Is there any history of wt. Loss?? Based upon your history it is difficult to pinpoint the diagnosis.... Is there any association of food intake with the pain? In my opinion you should see your doctor and should continue with your medications. You should take Omeprazole 40mg before breakfast daily for two weeks. Avoid fast and spicy foods. Meanwhile stay calm and stop worrying about the cancer , there is nothing in history pointing towards that. Hope your query is adequately dealt. Regards Dr saad sultan
