Hi, I have been getting headaches and they are very painful. It started yesterday last night while I was sleeping I woke up to one. I took 2 Excedrin migraine pills and it worked but as the day went on I came down with the same headache so then I took 2 advil s. I woke early this morning again with the same sharp, stabbing, throbbing pain of a headache and took 2 advil s again. It worked for a little while but know i m experiencing the same headache again. But I haven t taken anything for it yet.
There can be cluster headache more likely from the description of type of headache and intensity. However, a detailed physical examination with necessary lab data and radio-logical evaluations are mandatory in this concern. There are Ergotamines and other best supportive medications to control this once the diagnosis is confirmed by clinical examination.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
