What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Dizziness?
I am calling for my husband. He and I are separated, however, he told me today that he is having a lot of trouble catching his breath and he s dizzy. He said it s been happening for a month or so. He s 57 and been a smoker since hew as a teenager. He s also an alcoholic. He has no health insurance so we re trying to decide where he should start as far as a doctor.

Your husband's main complaint is dyspnea and dizziness. He is chronic smoker hence come under high-risk group. Rule out cardiac causes by EKG investigation. A chest x-ray also needs to be done. According to cause specific treatment given. For primary examination consult physician.
