Hi doctor, my son Andrew who is 11 had breathlessness on the 25th of Dec. while he was playing football. Few days later and his breathlessness has persisted followed by tiredness so took him again yesterday and the doctor said it possibly could be exercise induced asthma and has recommended Ventolin though a huf put kit and suggested he take it before any sport. Today he felt the breathlessness and tiredness again and I am wondering what s the recovery period, how long does it take?u as he is very fragile and keeps crying at a drip of a hat as he is an active boy generally playing loads of cricket and football. Also do u think a nebuliser for a 11 year old is better than the huf puf bit?
