Pregnancy symptoms vary widely between women, and many of the same symptoms people associate with pregnancy like spotting, breast tenderness, bloating, nausea and urinary frequency can be caused as a side effect of hormonal birth control. So your symptoms are not unusual with a long acting birth control method, especially those that stop your period. When you do get a menstrual period, many of these symptoms will disappear.
