What Causes Sinus Drainage And Throat Irritation Despite Using Wal-itin D?
I have sinus drainage which has irritated my throat and has caused hiccups--now 4 hours. I have taken s 24 hour, 240 mg extended release tablet of Wal-itin D an antihistamine/nasal decongestant. Also using a Ricola sugar free Lemon mint herb throat drops. No relief. Help?!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus drainage and throat irritation despite using Wal-itin D which is because of infection travel down the respiratory tract and affected whole area leading to sinusitis and pharyngitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. Take combination of penicillin along with Levocetirizine. You should take throat decongestants to prevent congestion. Take diet rich in vitamin C. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief. You should take chicken soup along with along with lemon tea.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
