Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Levothyroxin has nothing to do with this condition unless
thyroid function is abnormal.
It seems that the past infection never settled completely.
I would advise such a patient:::
*High resolution T scan of the
sinuses.
* collect the sample of the discharge for gram staining, culture and sensitivity test ( will help us in near future to alter the therapy if need be).
*Broad spectrum antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines, oral decongestant and topical one as nasal drops or spray
*
Bed rest.
*Steam inhalations
All this management will help to solve the present problem.
The medicines should be given for at least 3 weeks.
If the
CT scan is suggestive of an organic pathology and surgery if there is a need.
This is going to be bit difficult but you can be cured of the problems.
