Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

What all areas involved? Any fluid filled vesicles? Any itching (irritability / disturbed sleep). Anyone else in family affected? Any history of allergy or asthma in family? For proper diagnosis, above details and a good quality picture is needed. Scabies is caused by skin infestation with a mite. This causes papules and small vesicles with severe itching, more towards evening / night. This is spread by direct contact with an infected person.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
