What Causes Sleeplessness Along With Swollen Eyes And Fatigue?

Hello, Over the past 2 weeks I have noticed that I m having increased difficulties sleeping, puffy swollen eyes and face, slight soreness in my eyes, depression, brain fog, and lethargy. When I look in the mirror I feel that I don t look like the same person anymore. I plan to make an appointment with my doctor this week to do blood tests for my thyroid. I had an abortion exactly one month ago and I didn t notice any of these symptoms until a couple weeks after. I m wondering if I could have developed hypothyroidism due to the abortion? I just want to feel like my normal self again. Any advice would be great!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is the psychological condition you must be developing and it could be due to anxiety, depression, stress, so try to come out of this, be positive, practical, control your thoughts, have some exercise, yoga and meditation would be great, abortion does not cause any thyroid dysfunction, try to be happy, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
