What Causes Sleeplessness And Lack Of Bowel Movement In Infant?
My daughter has completed 38 weeks. She was born as preterm by 7 months and she was kept in NICU for 70 days. And now she was moved to home. During night she was not sleeping properly and not having BM properly. But during day time she have BM milk. My concern is whether we can give pre nan during night time?
Babies are to be exclusively breast feed up to 6 months of age unless specified otherwise by the pediatrician. Irregular bowel habits are common and normal in breast feed babies. You don't need to worry. If your breast milk is not adequate or if the baby keeps crying continuously with hunger at night then you can try pre Nan at night time. In my opinion, your baby doesn't need any formula milk as she is comfortable with breast milk.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
