My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer, had lower left lobe removed. Then had one chemo treatment and a neulasta injection the day after chemo. He had bad reactions, swelling of face and tongue, then small sores started to appear all over. Dr s came to the conclusion the sores are called sweet syndrome. He just finished 3 weeks of steroids for it. He can not sleep for any length of time and when he gets up he seems very confused, talks off the wall, sometimes see s or talks to things that aren t there. After a while it goes away. He forgets things but then will remember. I am afraid to sleep as he will will get up, stumble and fall sometimes. His feet and legs have been swelling a lot also. He takes pills for water retention but not helping a lot.
