What Causes Sleeplessness, Extremely Dry And Sensitive Eyes?

I have been getting drastically less sleep recently. Today my eyes feel extremely dry and susceptible to the air. I can acutely feel the fans in the room and they feel like they re blowing directly into my eyes constantly. How can I reduce this sensitivity and go on about my day without having to go to sleep?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome at HCM
I appreciate your health concerns....
What is your age? Are you taking any medicines? Any history of diabetes or hypertension?any dry mouth?
Dry eyes accompanied with loss of sleep occurs due to many conditions. You should see ophthalmologist so that you can be properly examined. If I am your physician I will get your eye examination done to rule out any local cause.
Mean while stay calm and use artificial tears to prevent excessive dryness.
Meet your attending physician.
Hope it helps.
Regards
Dr saad Sultan
